The fischer universal plug was developed by the fischer research center “for all use”. Fixed in solid materials by friction and in bricks or hollow walls, by locking. It has two forms of action: expansion and retraction. Therefore, the plug is always anchored whatever the construction material. It is designed to be used with wood screw or chipboard. When placed in solid materials, the screwless bushing initially narrows when introduced into the perforation. When placing the screw, the nylon body expands and presses the inner wall of the perforation across its surface. Using wood thread screws you will get maximum strength. When mounted on bricks or hollow walls (e.g., plasterboard) the plug arches laterally due to the screw thread and forms a bolt in the hole. Using agglomerated threaded screws (threaded up to the head) you will always get the maximum flexion of the plug.
