PU-40 SEALANT

Product Description:

PU-40 is a one-component polyurethane-based sealant, with high hardness and lasting elasticity. It is recommended for places with greater expansion or compression of joints, and can be used between different materials, such as column and masonry, roof, and gutter, among others.

IMPORTANT POINTS

  • Storage: dry and ventilated place, with temperature between 5 and 25 °C;
  • Apply at temperatures between 5 and 35 °C;
  • Application depth from 0.5 to 12 mm;
  • Avoid contact with alcohol or other cleaning solvents during curing;
  • It should not be applied in places exposed to direct sunlight;
  • The contents of the package must be used within 24 hours after opening;
  • Do not apply on surfaces with vapor outlets, avoiding the formation of bubbles in the sealant;
  • Not to be used on bituminous, natural rubber or EPDM surfaces, partially lubricated or containing oils, plasticizers or solvents.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Image01: Instructions for use The surface must be solid and dry, clean and free from dust or grease. When using the product, the cap at the bottom of the tube must be opened. 1 Apply masking tape on the sides of the surface, delimiting the area where the product will be applied;

Image02: 2 Cut the end of the tube and screw in the applicator nozzle. Cut the tip of the applicator nozzle at 45° and insert the tube into the application gun;

Image03: 3 Apply sealant to the entire length of the surface in fillets. In bonding jobs, join the parts to be bonded to ensure maximum contact between the surfaces;

Image04: 4 Finish with a spatula. With the job finished, remove the masking tape and keep the applicator nozzle on the tube until the next application, when it should be removed and cleaned.
