WALFORTE FACADE MESH

• Walforte mesh is indicated for application in joints of columns and/or beams with masonry, in order to absorb tensions and avoid the appearance of cracks in the finish;
• It must also be used on surfaces that will receive coating, to avoid the appearance of cracks resulting from the effects of expansion and retraction, in addition to increasing the resistance to the effect of shearing in the mortar;
• Walforte is an electrowelded screen with 1.24 mm Ø galvanized wire and 25 x 25 mm mesh, supplied in rolls of 0.5 x 25 m.

Image02: 2 Then, the roughcast specific for each surface must be applied;

Image03: 3 After the roughcast has completely cured, the Walforte mesh is applied, positioning it at the union of the structure with the masonry, leaving 25 cm of mesh on the structure (pillar or beam) and the rest on the masonry;

Image04: 4 The fixation of the screen must be done so that it is distant with pins mounted with washer;

Image05: 5 Finally, apply the mortar to the desired thickness and, at the right time, carry out the final finish.
